Only a few more days until Christmas and I have someone special on today’s podcast show who is going to share with us how to create some stillness amongst this busy time of year. Tom Cronin is the founder of The Stillness Project and also an amazing meditation teacher. Tom holds regular meditation classes in Sydney in which I really love and thought it would be amazing for him to share with us more about the importance of stillness.

How do people find stillness and clarity at this busy time of year?

Tom shares with us how you can create an effective timetable in your day to help you to be more present in each moment and also with seeking some calmness in this busy time of year.

Some key components to consider when seeking to be more present are;

  1. Phone time; Stay focused on the task at hand by putting the phone aside or away.
  2. Stillness – Regular practice of yoga and meditation. Putting blocks of time aside where you don’t have to process any information is important. And you do this by allocating time for yoga or meditation practice.

I love this quote that Tom shares because it is so true, our bodies need time out to reboot and recharge and meditation is a beautiful practice in which you can implement to help you recharge.
